Midwest Industries, Inc. Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy
Midwest Industries Inc. actively supports authorized dealers who sell and advertise our ShoreStation® and ShoreLand'r® brands of products through a variety of sales channels under the terms of its Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy.
The purpose of this Policy is to strengthen and reinforce the value added product positioning and brand image of ShoreStation® and ShoreLand'r®. Certain advertising and promoting of products can be inconsistent with these objectives. Specifically, it has been determined that online and other published pricing can be detrimental to these goals and the perception of the ShoreStation® and ShoreLand'r® brands and its authorized dealers if not executed properly. Therefore, Midwest Industries Inc. has created the following Minimum Advertised Price Policy.
- The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) for any ShoreStation® and ShoreLand'r® goods and parts shall not be less than 10% below the manufacturers published list price (links below). MAP pricing is established by Midwest Industries, Inc. and may be adjusted by Midwest Industries, Inc. at its sole discretion.
- MAP Policy applies to all advertisements of ShoreStation® and ShoreLand'r® products in any and all media including, but not limited to, Internet or similar electronic media, television, radio, public signage, flyers, posters, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, mail orders, emails, etc.
- The policy is not applicable to any in-store advertising that is displayed only in the retail store and not distributed to consumers.
- Other exclusions include manufacturer's sponsored promotions, boat shows or other trade events, used products, or discontinued products.
Midwest Industries Inc. reserves the right to cease shipments of all products and discontinue future business with any dealers or resellers in violation of this Policy.
